Safe & Sound - PANDIMAN Air Ambulance MedEvac

On the 29th of June, Pandiman was appointed by club to assist a 54 year old Filipino 2nd Engineer requiring medical assistance onboard a vessel passing off Taiwan.

The vessel deviated to Lingayen Port in Ilocos and arrived there at 12:30pm on the 2nd of July. As the vessel had no heli deck, the Air ambulance made a light on skid landing at 1255 and the seafarer and medical team of three were in the air within five minutes.

Upon arrival at Manila Domestic Airport an hour and a half later, the seafarer was met by Pandiman Company Representative, Mr. Ferdie Cruz who accompanied him by ground ambulance to Cardinal Santos Medical Centre in San Juan.

The 2nd Engineer is comfortable and recovering in stable condition.
